A local real estate company recently started offering some pretty significant discounts for people on the front lines, fighting COVID-19.
“The owner of this house is going to be my first client in the program," says Cynthia Mondeaux, realtor.
Cynthia Monteaux, is the realtor listing this house on Royal Palm Beach Boulevard in West Palm. But when it sells, she will only be taking home 80% of her commission.
“All these military people and the front liners are putting their lives out there every single day, how can we not give back, so that’s what I want to do," says Mondeaux.
Twenty percent of her commission will go right back to the seller because he is part of their Military on the Move program.
“We’ve actually expanded it from military, to those who are giving back during this crazy time in our community right so it’s to the firefighters, to the police officers, to the first responders, to nurses, to doctors, because we just really want to give back and part of the program as we give 20% of the commissions back to the clients at closing time right at the closing table which is amazing."
“It’s not easy to go to work every day in these times so it’s nice to see that people are recognizing that and wanting to get back to us, and getting help with a home that you can come home to after your long shifts," says Jessica Cabrera, Good Samaritan RN.
This program is available whether you are looking to buy like Jessica or sell like Thomas.
“Oftentimes the expense of closing and there’s many people who live paycheck to paycheck and if you’re in that situation that extra little bit at closing is a game changer," says Thomas, Veteran.
